亲爱的外籍朋友：

值此2020年新春佳节之际，我们向您致以诚挚的问候和美好的祝福！

针对近期新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，广西于1月24日启动重大突发公共卫生事件I级响应，自治区党委、政府，市委、市政府高度重视，统一部署，各项疫情防控工作有序展开。在此，我们向在南宁的各位外籍人士提出如下倡议：

一、加强自我防护，尽量减少外出，避免到人员密集的场所，减少聚会聚餐等集体活动。外出请正确佩戴口罩，首选医用外科口罩，废弃口罩规范投放。保持良好的个人卫生习惯，咳嗽、打喷嚏时务必使用纸巾或肘部捂住口鼻，注意勤洗手。注意居所卫生，适当开窗通风。避免接触任何野生动物或禽类动物，减少生冷食物摄入，食用熟食，多喝热水。

二、关注官方发布的权威信息。南宁市卫生健康委员会官方网站定时发布南宁市新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情情况（网址：http://wjw.nanning.gov.cn/）。您也可以拨打南宁市外事办公室电话0771-5389162、18677164843，我们将及时回应您的关切。

三、如您近期曾到访过疫情高发地区，或接触过疫情高发地区的来邕人员，请密切关注自身身体状况，并尽快向所在单位或所在地社区工作人员报告。如有社区工作人员或医务人员询问您的情况，请您积极配合他们的工作。

A Letter to Foreign Friends in Nanning

We would like to extend our greetings to you on the occasion of the Spring Festival!

In response to the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region activated the highest-level (level one) public health emergency response system on January 24, 2020. The CPC Committee and the People’s Government of both Guangxi provincial level and Nanning municipal level have attached high importance to and made comprehensive deployment on prevention and control of the epidemic. Nanning Foreign Affairs Office hereby suggests all foreign friends in Nanning：

I.Strengthen self-protection. Keep minimal outdoor activities. Avoid crowded places. Reduce group activities such as gatherings or dinner parties. Wear masks correctly when going out (Medical surgical masks are recommended). Properly dispose of used masks. Keep good personal hygiene habits by covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing and washing hands more frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer. Keep your rooms clean and maintain good ventilation. Avoid contact with wild animals or birds. Reduce consumption of cold, uncooked or undercooked food. Consume thoroughly cooked food and drink boiled water.

II. Follow official updates. The official website of Health Commission of Nanning regularly updates information of the prevention and control effort in Nanning（http://wjw.nanning.gov.cn/）. Please feel free to contact us by calling 0771-5389162 or 18677164843 when you are in need. We will respond to your concern in a timely manner.

III. If you have visited high-risk areas recently or have contacted with people coming from high-risk areas, please pay close attention to your health condition, and it's necessary to report to your employer or local community staff as soon as possible. If community workers or medical staff inquire about your health condition, please provide them with your information.
